The objective of the Turin School of Development (TSD) is to provide multi-disciplinary postgraduate learning opportunities with targeted content and effective delivery modalities, conducive to imparting the essential skills required to deal with today’s social, economic and environmental priorities at national and global levels.

Functional responsibilities

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

The intern will increase his/her knowledge of:

  • TSD communication and marketing campaigns, promotional activities and advertising procedures
  • TSD major competitors, in particular on their advertisement/recruitment policies
  • TSD procedures and universities’ international rules in Italian and European countries.

The intern will learn about work organization, setting priorities, communication skills and will actively contribute to the outputs foreseen by the TSD work plan.

TERMS OF REFERENCE:

The main objectives of this internship is to collaborate with the Turin School of Development and all its Masters by performing the following tasks:

  • Collaborate to the promotion of on-line recruitment campaigns and communications to attract graduate students;
  • Participate in the development and general organization of new activities;
  • Participate in the preparation of liaising initiatives with national and international partners, donors and other organizations.

The intern should expect to devote at least 25% of his/her time to administrative tasks.


Qualifications required

Education

• University Degree: Still enrolled in a graduate or post-graduate course or recently graduated (maximum 6 months earlier).

• Subject: Institutional Communication, Marketing, Social Affairs, Management.

• Advanced knowledge of communication skills, marketing guidelines, social innovation, global economic and social affairs (or a specific training activity on these topics) is an advantage

Languages

Very good knowledge of English.

Knowledge of Italian is considered an advantage.

IT Skills

Excellent command of computer applications used for office work (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet browsers).

Knowledge of management of online platforms is considered an advantage.

Other Skills

·         Ability to work independently as well as in a team;

·         Sensitivity to multicultural and diversity issues;

·         Ability to work under time constraint.
