As the training arm of the International Labour Organization, the ITCILO runs learning and training courses on campus in Turin, online, and around the world. The Learning Innovation Programme is specialized in technology-enhanced learning services and digital media and design services, which are often offered as part of larger capacity development packages. The programme’s clients include UN agencies, development banks, international organizations, governments and NGOs.
As part of their learning experience, the intern will participate in the regular creation of digital content (video, graphics, copywriting) and multimedia learning tools (infographics, podcasts, interactive modules) for various international development projects. This role will focus on developing innovative approaches for participatory videomaking, contributing to global communication campaigns, and creating tools for digitally inclusive learning.
The Learning Innovation Programme explores emerging approaches to strengthen facilitation practices in development contexts. Within this framework, the internship will contribute to an applied investigation related to adult learning and coaching and will focus on emotional intelligence (EI) and interculturalism as strategic competencies for facilitation. The aim is to translate conceptual and theoretical insights into a coherent narrative that can inform the development of practical methods, tools, and potentially a tangible learning product (e.g. a facilitation package, toolkit, or serious game).
